Treble Stitch Slippers

Yarn Weight – 4
Brand – I Love This Yarn or Redheart
Hook - G

1)      Ch 14, 7 dc in 4^th ch from hook, dc to end, 6 dc in last ch, 10 dc to end, join with sl st to top of ch 4 – 34 dc

2)      Ch 3, dc in same st as joining, 2 dc in next 7 dc, dc in next 10 dc, 2 dc in next 6 dc, 10 dc to end, join with sl st to top of ch 3 – 48 dc

3)      Change color (I did it in the sl st to join), ch 1, sc in same st as joining, sc in back loop only around, join to first sc with sl st – 48 sc

4)      Repeat 3.

5)      Ch 4, *sk next sc, treble in next sc* until you have 8 treble stitches including ch 4, ch 1 in next sc, sc around, join to top of ch 4 with sl st

6)      Sl st into sp between first and second treble, ch 4, treble in next sp between trebles until you have 7 trebles including ch 4, sc into next sc, sc around, join to top of ch 4 with sl st

7)      *Ch 1, sc decrease in ALL 7 of the treble crochets, ch 1 and pull tight, sc in next sc, sc around, join to the sc dec at the tip of all of the treble crochets

8)      Sl st in every st around, tie off.

*You are going to go into every treble stitch and pull up a loop. No YO because it is a single sc decrease. When you have all of the loops on your hook, YO and pull through ALL the loops, ch 1 and pull tight and then continue on.
