Butterfly Garden Baby Play Mat

I'm a little late getting this released in my store... but as many of you may remember, I participated in the Battle of the Stitches, round 5! I didn't win, but I did design a fantastic pattern and gave it my all... and you guys get the joy of that pattern if you want it :D It is definitely one of my most unique, creative and challenging patterns... but totally worth it! <3

This battle really pushed me from my comfort zone as motifs and squares are not something I particularly enjoy working with (to much sewing! lol) and this is only the 2nd pattern I've designed that uses them. But they did create a beautiful look and I will have to design with them again simply on principal because this cannot be the only battle round in which I don't design other patterns using the new techniques and stitches I learned. :p You can get the pattern on Ravelry & Etsy.
