Winter Crystals Hooded Cowl

My last pattern, the Cables & Braids Cowl & Beanie Set were much loved last week... so I thought I'd share another pattern featuring the same cable stitch with you all! The stitch in this pattern was the Battle of the Stitches Round 3 stitch! If you aren't familiar with the BOS, be sure to check them out. This pattern was a ton of fun to make and my daughter absolutely loved modeling it for me... though, I must say, I can't help but feel that she steals the spotlight!

I used a very soft and sturdy wool blend for this project but my testers also had luck using Vanna's choice and you could even use Red Heart Super Saver, Red Heart with Love or I Love This Yarn for more affordable choices! Just make sure you match gauge by adjusting your hook size if need be.
