On Fire Slouch Beanie - Free Pattern & Yarn Baby LLC Yarn Review!

MNE Crafts got to have a great time with some fantastic new material from Yarn Baby. This unique color, named Hot Lava for hits fiery reds, light and dark greys and beautiful pattern, is hand dyed onto a beautiful and naturally stretchy 100% superwash merino. I have to give some serious props to Shannon, the talented owner at Yarn Baby, because, as I was working the pattern inspired by her yarn I noticed that the slight changes in color worked perfectly to create a slight spiral in the hat.

Amazing right? I was thrilled. I think it really adds something unique to the hat!

Shannon has TONS of incredible colors and materials at her website. Some others that I'd like to try are:

The Bucket

At some point, I know these two brilliant colors will inspire some fantastic designs that I can share with you all... but until then I'll continue to work with Shannon on a completely custom color that I absolutely cannot wait to get my hands on!!!

For now, though... just enjoy this fantastic free pattern :)
