1)      Using magic circle, ch 1, 10 dc in circle, pull tight, join to first dc with sl st – 10 dc

2)      Ch 1, dc in same st as joining, fpdc around same st, *dc in next st, fpdc around same st* around, join to first st with sl st – 20 dc

3)      Ch 1, *dc in same st as joining, 2 fpdc around next st*around – 30 dc

4)      Sl st 1 st over, ch 1, 2 fpdc in ever fpdc around, join to first st with sl st – 40 dc

5)      Ch 1, *dc in same st as joining, dc in next fpdc, dc between the first set of 2 fpdc of previous round, dc in next 2 fpdc* around, join to first st with sl st -  50 dc

6)      Ch 1,* bpdc around same st as joining, fpdc, dc on both sides of next st (between stitches, not using loops), fpdc, bpdc* around, join to first st with sl st – 60 dc

7)      Ch 1, dc in every st around, join to first st with sl st - 60 dc

8)      Sl st one st over, ch 1, *2 fpdc around next st, 1 bpdc in next 2 st, 2 fpdc in next st, sk next 2 st*around, join to first st with sl st – 60 dc

9)      Ch 1, dc in next 3 st, *treble in st in the st from round 7, dc in next 5 st* around ending with 1 dc in last 2 st, join to first st with sl st – 50 dc; 10 treble

10)   Ch 1, *fpdc, bpdc in next 2 st, fpdc (over treble), bpdc in next 2 st,* around (there will be two bpdc on both sides of every fpdc, join to first st with sl st – 60 dc

11)   Ch 1, *dc in next 2, treble in previous round (the bpdc from round 10 will pop the stitches forward, you will put the treble in the second popped forward st)* around (there will be 2 dc on both sides of the treble) , join to first st with sl st – 50 dc; 10 treble

12)   Ch 1, *bpdc in next 2 st, fpdc* around (every fpdc will be on a treble st) , join to first st with sl st – 60 dc

13)   Ch 1, dc *treble, dc in next 2 st*, join to first st with sl st - 50 dc; 10 treble

14)   Ch 1, bpdc in same st as joining, *fpdc, 2 bpdc* around (each fpdc will be over a treble with 2 bpdc on either side) , join to first st with sl st – 60 dc

15)   Ch 1, *treble in the previous round (same as done in other rounds), dc in next 2 st* around, join to first st with sl st – 50 dc; 10 treble

16)   Ch 1, fpdc, bpdc around next 2 st (every fpdc is around a treble with 2 bpdc on each side of fpdc), join to first st with sl st – 60 dc

17)   Ch 1, sc around, join to first st with sl st

18)   Repeat row 17

19)   Repeat row 18 – do not tie off

Brim – Switch to E hook

1)      Ch 2, fpsc around next 33 st

2)      Ch 1, sc in next 4 st, 2 sc in next st, *sc in next 5 st, 2 sc in next st*ending with 4 sc

3)      Ch 1, sc dec in first 2 sc, sc to last 2 sc, sc dec

4)      Repeat row 3

5)      Repeat for 3

Edging of hat

-          Sc down side of brim to corner of brim (5 sc) and then sl st into next st and around hat. Then sc up next side of brim (5 sc) and then sl st across hat joining into first sc down side of brim.
